Alright, here’s the story. We met back in 2012 thanks to the wonders of League of Legends—yeah, you read that right, a video game chat. I was bored one day, jumped into a public lobby, and boom, ended up gaming with Jo and some randoms. Now, fast forward two weeks of voice chats (by the way, I couldn’t get enough of her cute voice), and we thought, “Why not?”—so Jo packed her life (and her Husky) into a Mini that was stuffed to the roof and drove four hours down to my place in Germany. First time meeting face-to-face, mind you. And guess what? Sparks flew. Literally, like, as soon as she walked in… you get the idea.
We didn’t waste time; let’s just say that.
Fast forward a bit; we moved around Germany for a couple of years, found out we were expecting a little one, and then decided, “Hey, England sounds like a great idea.” Jo had a small place there, so we packed up once again, waved goodbye to Germany, and headed to the UK. And what do you know—two kids later, we were deep into the sleepless nights and the lovely chaos that is parenthood. Let me tell you—if anyone tells you that raising kids is easy, they’re either lying or they’ve got some magical unicorn children, because we sure didn’t.
Now, somewhere in between dirty nappies and lockdowns, we lost a big project we were working on during the summer holidays, and Jo—being the absolute genius she is—had this wild idea. One night she’s watching a few streams on Stripchat, sees someone giving a performance-enhancer a BJ, and says, “Looks easy; I can do that!” Yeah, that was her lightbulb moment. I’m sitting there like, “Wait, what?” But she’s serious, so next thing you know, we’re brainstorming, freaking out, and almost chickening out before our first stream.
But we didn’t. We hit that “go live” button, and guess what? We had a blast. It was so fun, we just kept going—and here we are, still having fun and sharing that with all of you.
Now, here’s the deal: we love what we do because we do what we love. That’s our golden rule. No fake stuff, no going through the motions—just us being real, having a laugh, and enjoying the hell out of each other. If it ever starts to feel forced, we’re out. But so far, so good.
Of course, it hasn’t all been sunshine and roses. We’ve dealt with our fair share of jerks online, rude comments, and those quiet times during streams that feel like we’re broadcasting to crickets. But we’ve learnt how to handle it—usually by having a brainstorming session over coffee and crackers. Yep, we treat it like a proper business. But a fun one. And that’s how we keep going.
So that’s us. A couple of gamers-turned-content-creators, doing what we love, and sharing that connection with all of you. Thanks for being part of the journey—we couldn’t do this without you.
